Beginner Using a YN-E3-RT with an EX600-RT - I have a basic question re the displays.

Firstly, I apologise if this is a stupid question, but I'm going to ask as I'm unsure. I've just got myself a Yongnuo YN-E3-RT trigger to use with my Canon EX600-RT Speedlight, when I change the mode on the trigger, say to E-TTL, or Manual, should the display on the Speedlight show the exact same setting on the screen? For example, I can have the trigger displaying E-TTL mode, although the Speedlight might still show as being in Manual.

If you half press the shutter button, the screen on the flash should change...............................on the Canon version anyway

Jim, thanks for your reply. I'll have to experiment a bit more and check the screen on the flash again.
