using flash off camera

If i want to use my flash off camera do i just need a sync lead?

its a 5D and a 430EX.

Sync lead and hot shoe for the flash as it does not have a PC port

That should work fine, but you may find a UK one for a similar price, Caulmet had some on Ebay a while back.
