Valentine Card - would appreciate some help please!

Hi All,

I thought I'd like to make my OH a valentines card this year using one of my photos and I had my first experimentation today. I got a SB-600 flash this week and this was my first time using it. Just trying to get used to the settings. I havn't worked out how to use it off camera (via a cable) yet - everything was VERY dark when I tried that! Need to do a bit more reading of the manual methinks

Anyway - the point is I would love some feedback on how to improve these. I'm thinking a bigger picture of one heart would have been better... and there are the pbvious flash issues:

Haha, how weird! Check out my thread I made just last night!

I think number one of yours is best Just make sure you get the drops in the same place each time and the focus spot on.

Your bokeh is much nicer then mine
