VAT reclaim on Kerso equipment

I am VAT registered and I plan to buy a canon 40D from Kerso, but it is not clear whether the invoice I receive will have the VAT itemised (necessary for VAT reclaim purposes). Can anyone please advise me, or have any other VAT registered togs bought equipment through Kerso and successfully reclaimed the VAT?

i would suggest dropping him a pm and see if he can supply a vat invoice

i cant remember off the top of my head if he does or not

Thanks Fletch5. I have been in contact with Kerso, but the vat question has not yet been clearly resolved. So I am hoping that a pervious Kerso purchaser can confirm or not.

I asked him about this and he said you can't claim any VAT back. His prices don't include VAT.

So if you are VAT registered you can probably get just as good a price elsewhere.

Fair point - but in my case Kerso was still quite a bit cheaper than any net figures when I was looking

Service too was excellent with the product arriving in only a couple of days

The bill is of course a business expense so is still tax deductible

to Kerso for me
