First pictures you shoot whatever is to hand :)

Nothing wrong with pictures of the cat! Might have been better when he/she was awake as eye contact often makes shots like this.

Try it again with some natural light from a nearby window - you could end up with some good pet portraits.
 
Looks like a gorgeous little puss,
but I think the pics might look better if you could catch him/her with their eyes open. :)

I dont know whats slower ... my connection ... or me!

yes i will try and catch with eyes open when i shoot in daylight but the flash made him keep his eyes closed.

to be honest just wanted to try my new camera but am looking forward to going at the weekend and shooting some daylight shots and the park and just haveing a go
