Video Indexing Software

I'm looking for software to Index all my videos. They range from full feature films to mobile video grabs.
I have tried Lightroom but that is having trouble importing some videos.
I have tried WindowLivePhotoGallery but that has difficulty adding metadata (as some file don't accept metadata)

Any ideas?
