I love the first one that is great but what dose welding glass shot mean?

Dan.

hi nice b/w pics and sharp well done
Thanks ;)
Although I have subjective reservations about the movement blur aesthetic in the sky, these are superb conversions

What software did you use?
I used Canons DPP and CS3

Thanks Dan, see here Linky
Hi

Loving the long exposure skies in these, although the foregrounds arent really grabbing me.

Ewan
It was difficult to find a great foreground from up there and these were the best I could manage Ewan. Thanks for looking ;)

Hi,

i like them alot
a friend of mine does window tints
i aill have to get some off cuts from him and give this sort of thing a go

filters on the cheap :)

Number 1 is excellent...turns my crank completely. Number 2...less so.

Yep that is what I love about a friendly neighbour.... always tells it how it is no matter how it may offend  :LOL:

 Just a bit of the ol' Pompey/Soton rivalry banter!

Really like the first one. Some dramatic sky going on in the second one (y)

Bet you were knackered after climbing the spiral steps to the top of that tower Alby?

You aqre making that welding glass sing :)

The first is a belter of an image

Good Idea, welding glass is only a £1 a shot ;)

Thanks Dave, you know I have the thickest skin known to man so no offence taken really. ;) Yes that climb was slow and steady and carefully long in time getting there. ;)

Cheers Les ;)

Like the first one Alby but I think I'd have been tempted to angle the camera up a touch more to get more sky and lose the ruin thingy bottom left. Just my opinion though! Sky has worked really well. I need to get out with my B&W ND110 again sometime - perhaps a play with my new lens is in order?
