Hello all;
I have been "handed down" a pair of cameras and associated bits.
Unfortunately my knowledge of cameras and photography is zero and I am looking for some advice and guidance on where to take them to sell (I live in Bedfordshire UK).
In the Leather box are 2 cameras, one marked as Rolleiflex and one marked Rolleicord. There is a selection of lenses, filters, lens caps, leather strap handle with crocodile jaw ends, , view finders, cases, viewfinders, some of which are in individual leather pouches marked Rollei.
I've looked on ebay but its a bit of a minefield for the uneducated, I would prefer to take the box somewhere or to find someone to buy them as a "set".
I think the equipment dates from 60's ?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Dave

Rolleiflexes and Rolleicords are fine precision instruments and you should be able to find appreciative buyers if they are in working condition. If I could afford it, I would buy them myself.

Unfortunately, I can't think of anywhere you could go to to sell them other than a couple of companies: Ffordes and Mifsuds who may agree to sell them on commission for you.

In order to get an idea of value, have a look at finished sales on ebay. To do this, you will need to know which models you have. The f2.8 Rolleicord is generally more desirable than an f3.5 model.

Have a look here: http://www.siufai.dds.nl/Rollei_History.htm
