Hiding out from the rain on a day off and playing with an old m42 Pentacon 135mm f2.8@f9(ish, its a pre-set lens so the marker was somewhere between f8 and f11) on 12mm ext tube and a 2x TC with a Raynox DCR250 on the front. About 25 layers stacked in Affinity with minor contrast tweaks and a slight crop.

Really impressed with the magnification and overall IQ for such a setup convoluted as it is. The butterfly is a small copper I found DOA in my greenhouse last summer and for reference the head eye to eye is appox 2mm across edge to edge.

Here is the same configuration of adapters but using the 135mm's big brother the Pentacon 200mm F4 at around f11-13. A wasp I found when cleaning out our light fixtures this morning.
