Can be difficult to correctly judge the framing unless you're using TTL viewfinder. The 40mm Framelines don't exist on much besides some old Minolta CLEs, afaik.
Im sure it's got a lot of character!

It'll be being used on an X-T1 so it shouldn't be too difficult to use.

I've used one on my Sony Nex. Nice results but I found focusing using the tab a bit odd compared to a standard focus ring.

Not fully convinced yet so i need to do a bit more research. Especially about the focusing.

Ive owned a couple for use on Sony A7 cameras, great TINY lens (for the spec), very good build. Id imagine it would feel great on an XT1. I bought the SC version mainly for B&W rendering.

In case the A7 users are interested...

Mine hasn't left the A7 since I bought it. Lovely lens in all aspects IMO. Lots of shots on my Flickr using it but search my stream as they aren't all in the set.

Ive read legacy SLR/RF MF glass doesnt work to well on Fuji sensors though, perhaps something to research further.

The few legacy lenses i have owned have all been good and fun to use.

Did some googling and quite a few people have been using this lens (sc/mc) with Fuji's.

My Voigtlander Bessa R3M has a 1:1 viewfinder and 40mm framelines. It's the perfect combination. Thought long and hard about the 40mm SC. in the end, I opted for the MC version. No regrets so far.

Nice, I didn't know that the bessa had 40mm lines. a 1:1 native VF must be nice. I tried using a magnifier to get it for my 50mm but it sticks out too much and lost too much contrast for my liking. One day i'll try an Ikon which i hear has a great viewfinder

I really like 40mm, I have the mc version and really like it

fyi 28mm is the 1.5 crop equivalent, and I do really like that length on my crop cameras, but I've not used much of 40mm on crop. If your using a adapter you might be able get get a closeup helical one
