Voigtlander Ultron 40mm f/2.0 canon, anyone?

I've got one for Nikon, I also had the Zeiss 25mm and Viogtlander 58mm.

The Ultron is the only one I've kept (although I do sometimes miss the other two)

Its a great lens, mainly because it is so small and light and I can't not fault its optics and the little close up lens it comes with is very convent for taking more abstract shots,

It's a neat little lens and doesn't appear to have any real shortcomings based on my limited usage. It comes in around the same size and weight as a 1.4x T/C and is very "pocketable" although it looks like a pimple on a tit when stuck on a 1DsIII. The MF ring feels very Zeiss-like and fine enough to be precise with focus. All in all, performs well for the price and very well built.
Downside?....I tried the little diopter lens that gets you 1:4 magnification and wasn't thrilled by the results (it's back in the box for good).

I can vouch for the above, Bob's lens used to be mine!

Its a real pleasure to use and is really very sharp.
