vole at high tide

Given how high the water level gets, I find it amazing that the voles etc are able to survive being flushed out (or eaten).
 
Sad to see the little critters suffer , guessing a lot of animals don`t make it , great photo opportunity for you though Geoff . I remember you sharing one of a Hare way back in similar circumstances , wouldn`t mind seeing that again . Regards Mark .
