Just a few shots taken at Titchwell last week. The one of the Curlew in flight was taken using the 300 f4 and the other two were taken using the 100-400 + 1.4 converter and taped pins. Your comments are very welcome.

I wonder if #2 would be better with a tighter crop so we can see more of the bird

Very good shots especially No,.2 my favourite type of birds the waders,, their calls are eerie and wild out on the mudflats.

Thanks for your comments. I took the Redshank shot very late in the day when the sun was very low and giving the bird a warm look about it, this could be why it seems soft. As for the Curlew I have already cropped it to 33% below is a 100% crop.
