A couple of weeks ago graffiti artists were invited by Wakefield council to use a cycle path/walkway beneath the M1 nr Wakefield. Here are there efforts, impressive work IMHO.

A couple with the fish-eye first.

Totally agree with you there Lee. If there was a building in every dull grey city center it would certainly cheer everyone up through the winter months if it had artwork like the above on.(y)
 
Nice shots, I think I would rather see street art than just drab dirty walls..:)

It is on Green La. underpass for the M1 just as you pass the school on horbury rd. First left and as you go round the bend it is the first left, keep driving along the signle track road and you come to the underpass nr the fishing ponds adjacent to the M1.

There is a TP meet planned here for Sunday. 24th
 
Oh right, I was down there only a few weeks ago on the bike - got chased by a dog! :LOL:

Will look at the meet thread now, being only 8mins away I should try and make it!
