Our new kitten he is 8 weeks old and I am determined the will like the camera and not run off like the other two!

Just a question some of his fur is slightly blue - what can I/should I do to correct this/stop it happening again? Or was it just the light? (natural through the window)

Having just posted my first pictures of our cat on here I know how difficult it can be, espeically indoors with just natural light. What lens did you use? Something with a small apperature F3.8 and under is a great help. What I would say is try to focus more on the eyes they are a little soft, seems you hit the nose spot on thou. the blue I am think could be CA and thats pretty much down to the lens and lighting conditions as far as I know, I am sure someone else will explain better than me.

Hi,

Yep the focus was trying for the eyes - the little guy is a fast little devil!! Lens was the 18-105mm with the D90 - F5.6. I may try with my 50mm later to try a lower F
