WARNING for iphone / ipad and facebook users

Hold off the update for facebook on ipad and iphone for a wee while.

If you do want to update delete the old version FIRST.

I didn't and it's bricked my 3gs and there seems to be people all over the place saying similar about ipads and iphones having problems after the app update. A friend of mine also had to foce recovery on his iphone 4 and mess about with his ipad.

Bunch of gimps obviously don't bother testing there releases.

It's done a full restore now and it seems to be minimal losses (not sync'd for a week) and it seems OK with facebook reinstalled.

I was having problems but I just uninstalled it, reinstalled it, and turned it off and on a couple of times. All working now though and it is much improved.

Facebook have released an update this evening to resolve the issue.

All should be well in the world now.

I think it gives you the chat feature that safari doesn't
