Warranty ?

Not sure if this is in the right thread but wondered if anybody knows what you do if you lose your warranty card i bought a Nikon D7000 in the week went to register it today and can't find the card has anybody had this problem and if so what did you do

can you not register on line and you will need the serial no. off the body, important thing is do not lose the receipt

The warranty isn't with nikon but a third party

I registered back in November for my d7000 never heard anything and when chasing they had no record - eventually got it sorted and got an extra six months warranty too !

I got the strong impression they were very disorganised so I would be inclined to just call them in a few weeks, and say you've registered but never heard back from them ! If you need any phone numbers drop me a message

I registered my Nikon cameras online. I don't think I needed anything off the warranty card. :shrug:
