Washing up in a flash

Having seen someone else with the same thing on his 580EX, I bought a bottle of Ecover washing-up liquid. The bottle is white and translucent, the label peels off and leaves no residue, and the bottom half is a perfect fit for my Metz 48 AF-1.

It's my £1.50 Sto-fen and works brilliantly.(y)

I have a question, though. I find the mixture of flash light and ambient incandescent light quite ugly, and I understand that this is what gold diffusers are for - they bring the flash in line with the ambient light, so the white balance matches.

Please be creative and think of a good way to make a gold diffuser. I don't mind buying another bottle of Ecover!

Thanks:)

Send away for a sample pack of filter gels for some studio lights, they usually are large enough to tape infront of a flash, that way you can balance your flash white balance perfectly to the ambient!
