Waspy thing in flight! (More added from today!)

Yesterday I was on a mission to catch these things in flight.
Not sure what it is, but by his actions (hovering in one place allot!)
I'm going with a hoverfly!

This is about as good as I could manage.....

I was using manual focus.
Not something I enjoy, but it was virtually impossible to auto.

Although due to the nature of these creatures, I did manage to AF on them a few times! I would get the fly in the focus frame, then quickly switch back to AF and fire a few shots off, with relative success!!
