hi all,
iv seen on here some time back abit about sensors to trigger the flash/camera at the right time for a water drop impact.

could anyone point me in the right direction link/websites ?

also how good are they?
are they d.i.y kits ?
is there anything extra i need to make the system work ?

I don't think you really need a rig to do this. I can get about 60-70% timed by hand once in a rhythm. You just need to watch the drops for a bit and then you start to know you push the shutter when the drip drops/passes a certain point.

edit: All the drops on my flickr where done this way and there's a set up shot in there some where too.
