I like the first 3 as they are nice a sharp, the last 2 are let down a little by the softness.

Not really, had a look at a tutorial (see above link) hashed a water droppy device together and just set my camera on tripod - then took a cople of hundred photos - every now and again you get a drop in the frame, add some backgrounds for some interesting effects.

I reckon the last one if sharper would be very interesting if only from the point of view that you have the reflection of the descending water drop on the target area!
no 3 though is the winner
