The first one is quite nice, the second however is very busy, and there is no real focal point to the photo.

The waterfall shot is lovely, with just the right amount of blur on the water. The second shot doesn't really work for me,as Amp34 already said, it is busy with no real focal point. I can see what you were aiming for, but it didn't quite work this time.

The first is by far the better of the two. Would love to see it with golden light.
