#3 is the pick of the crop here as I'm a stickler for sharpness on aircraft.
#1 and #2 look like big crops but who cares I still like them as they look as if you shot them on a hot day through heat haze.

apart from #3 which i like , the others seem very noisy , what iso were they taken at ?

all taken at 500 iso - for no reason other than thats what the camera was set too (wasn't feeling too well that day and so forgot a few things....) But - 500iso shouldn't be a problem for a D300 should it? Maybe I've messed up in the PP, wouldn't be the first time!
