If you wanted to try and improve it, the galleries would look neater if all the thumbnails were the same aspects...ie, square!

I'd love to help...but I had the same problem with my gallery....and still do

nope, seemed a bit too complicated, and lightroom did exactly what i wanted nice and simply.
Nice simple site. I find that my eye always wants to see text on the left hand side of a page (as opposed to the right where you have it) but that's just me perhaps.
The thumbnails in the galleries are too small to be able to easily pick out a specific image. You're kind of forced to go through the whole lot, which some people might not be so keen on. That said, the images scroll smoothly and quickly so it works from that point of view.
Its all about personal likes and dislikes at this stage. There are things I'd change if it was me (as mentioned) but other people will love it just the way it is. Horses for thingies and all that.

Sorry, I can't help you on that front. I use templates (like Clikpic) so I take the lazy approach......... not that I'm happy with my site yet.

TBH, I think the thumbnails are too small. I kept on going to click an image to find the little play sign for photowall was the same size, thus activating it. It's a pain. Also, and I don't mean to sound too harsh ... You have a lot of images on there that I personally (if I were you) wouldn't use to show case my talent, lots of blown skies etc etc.
Also, a question I was asked when asking for critique on mine: What is your site for? Are you using it to simply showcase your images, sell them, or something else? Maybe it would be worth utilising your contact page better, instead of having it only be an email divert :shrug:
