Has anyone heard of these before, they are selling some dirt cheap lens and cameras and want to order one, has anyone had any dealings with them.

I'm just a little worried as things that look too good to be true usually are.

idea of what I'm talking about Canon 70-200mm EF f2.8L IS MK II USM for £990 :bonk:

a canon 50mm f1.4 for £175

is it too good to be true?

More evidence: Go to any page on the Wells Cameras site, and click on the "Company Information" link at the bottom of the page.

More evidence: The prices they quote are stupidly, insanely, unbelievably low. Canon 100-400L for £736? Canon 24-105L for £447? Canon 24-70L for £596? Even the ex-VAT prices you see on the web sites of some unscrupulous grey importers aren't anywhere close to that.

Run away!!!
 
I noticed company info didn't work, i thought i would order the 50f1.4 and pay on credit card for protection but knew it was dodge when it was international bank transfer only...

would of been worth the risk if i could pay by credit card but sod transferring it....

i wonder how many people actually send them money and expect to get what they ordered
