Helping out as a second shooter on a wedding on Thursday, now ive done a couple in the past all of which where dry. Iam actually looking forward to abit of rain! Reason being, for the experince, I guess Ive been lucky as all my previous ones where dry!

So extras to pack? Few carrier bags for emergency's and a brolly?

Spare batteries for flash more than normal

Some portable flash heads.

A reflector to bounce off if ceilings are too high.

Brollies if you have several but the main man should hopefully have these?

A towel,

A good lens cleaning cloth!

Thanks chivers67 some good points there.

Last wedding I went to earlier this year, weather was horrendous. Wind and rain.

Poor photographer had to get everyone back inside the church and shoot all the groups there, but there was a lot of confusion, guests wandering around all over the place, and some had just legged it to the reception.

Sometimes the photography is the least of your worries. Hire a couple of sheep dogs. And a cattle prod.

I find my Westcott ice light invaluable during wet weddings.

It is treading the fine line of getting the best shots you can and not being to invasive. Conservatorys are a blessing if the venune has one. if not depending on the venue we sometimes do the groups on the entrice to the venue with them standing in the cover and we just get wet taking the shot.
