The other beauty of using RAW only is that I seriously believe that it makes you a better tog. You want to take less pictures, so you concentrate on getting it right without taking too many shots!
really? seems to me that shooting RAW makes you lazy as you can fix it afterwards rather than getting it right first time
Personally I only shoot jpeg unless the situation is so difficult (low light inside a church for example) I want a back up, then shoot RAW+JPEG, but still use the jpeg unless it REALLY doesn't work
Once I load the eaw files on the PC I immediately back up.
Then I run image processor in photoshop to convert all to a full size jpeg in a sub folder.
This allows me to run through the images more quickly to get rid of the definitely rubbish shots (I look on one monitor and delete raw files with same name on the other).
Then get rid of jpeg folder and load raw into NX Lightroom or CS4 as i feel evetually saving as jpeg as appropriate.
