Hi all,

Looking at changing my setup from Nikon to Canon ( no dodgy comments please!! ) and was wondering what my gear is worth roughly. I have put the thread here as it is not for sale yet, just trying to work out whats what. So I have the following I would like to get rough prices on

All in good condition, will be sent for a clean and a service before being sold.

Nikon D200 body - complete with caps straps and box

Nikon 80-200mm f2.8 AFS version - Complete with hard carry case, caps, lens hood, and box

Nikon 18-200mm VR - Complete with caps, lens hood and box.

Nikon 50mm f1.8 D - Complete with lens caps but no box.

Sigma 28-70mm f2.8 - Caps, lens hood, no box.

Nikon SB600 flash unit

Nikon 70-300mm f4-5.6 Caps, lens hood and box.

Also have 5 batterys, with 1 travel charger, origional charger, shutter release cable, CPL filter, UV filter.

If I offer it all for sale, it can be split, or sold as a bundle.
Thanks in advance.

Ben

Your best bet is to search completed ebay auctions, and that'll give you an idea.

Really depends if you are looking to sell as a lot or separate.
Some things will sell well others wont.

Nikon D200 body - £400 approx depending on shutter count.

Nikon 80-200mm f2.8 AFS version - Always a strange one to price. I got offered one for £400 recently.

Nikon 18-200mm VR - Complete with caps, lens hood and box. Solid £350 - £400

Nikon 50mm f1.8 D - Complete with lens caps but no box. £60

Sigma 28-70mm f2.8 - Caps, lens hood, no box. £190

Nikon SB600 flash unit - £130 - £150

Nikon 70-300mm f4-5.6 - chuck it in for free if you are selling as a lot, if not try and get £70 if G, £110 if D

sb600 is more like 150ish at the moment, sadly for us buyers :(

and £400 for the 80-200 af-s? double that maybe? :/

I think the 50mm would be nearer £75-85, the D200 maybe £450 ish depending on little extras like batteries, condition and shutter count. The 18-200 a good £400. Depending on condition the SB600 maybe £150-160.

Can't comment on the rest though.

If you are selling though you will need to shift this thread to for sale though or you will get told off

Seems i upset all the Nikonians.
No disrepect guys but its all pretty Long in the tooth now.

Its like Canon 5D's - they sell regularly on here for around £800 but the only 3 people i know who have one all got them within the past 6 months from camera shops used with between 3 and 6 months warranty, shutter counts from 2k to 7.5k and they all paid between £600 and £670.

Apologises...Got offered a D for £400 and an AF-S for £600.

I don't think anyone is upset at all. Just look on here about 50mm lens, they do go for £75-85. Decent D200s do go for £450 and he has a remote, several batteries etc so this will help get that price. The 18-200 I have seen go for that recently.

Not upset at all. :)

The 80-200mm AF-S lens has seen a massive hike in 2nd hand prices, probably down to the retail increases on the 70-200mm VR lens.

The last few have sold for upwards of £800 on Fleabay - bet you wish you'd bought it

£400 is the kind of money that the old one-ring version of the AF-D goes for....
