What lens fitting is this?

Was picked up for me by a friend but it does not fit my nikon, its 52mm but turns the wrong way to fit if you know what I mean?

Sirius auto 70-210mm

Sorry about crap pics, reduced to a camera phone whilst my lens is in for repair.


What will it be to fit? Canon? Olympus? Fuji?

It's a shame because its a very good lens, but alas I'm going to have to wait til I can post in classifieds and swap it for something I can use LOL

Maybe, it looks like a mirror image of the fitting for my nikon, same size and shape-ish but like a mirror image, it turns the other way.

hard to tell with the photos but i'd give the elements a good clean and check for dust/fungus inside the lens before selling as it looks quite grubby and you could end up out of pocket/not making many new friends

Doesn't look like a FD mount, I have the 70-210mm 1:4 FD

From the 'MC' on the front of the lens I'd guess an old Minolta MC fit lens.
