What Macro Lens

:shrug::shrug:I'm looking to buy a Sigma 1:1 EX DG Prime Macro (Canon fit) lens next month but I'm confused as to which one to go for. I'm considering the 50mm, 70mm or 105mm. Insects are what I'll be shooting. Any suggestions which lens to go for and where to get the best deal? I'm not too keen to spend £200 - £300 on an import from places like Hong Kong etc.

If you're going to be bug-hunting then go long - 105, or 150.

105mm, you dont want to have to lean over and try taking pics of insect, they will just fly off, for deals im not sure

I'd go for 150 or 180 to get a good working distance...you can always shorten it up again with a tube or two.

I can't comment on the specific Sigma lenses as mine are all Canon but the length factor follows the same rules.
