Wonderful images and suits the B&W conversion well but on the first it looks massively over sharpened :shrug: dial back the sharpening on that one and it will be great

Thanks, Matt. I'll go back to the original, but will say that this fan-shaped leaf was brightly backlit, and that may be the source of the appearance of over sharpening. I confess, though, that I tend to sharpen quite a bit prior to uploading to Flickr or other web photo services. I may have overdone this one.
