I need a free software to convert a .flv to a mp4 file, does anyone know a good one?

What OS are you running? If Windows, have you tried to give Irfanview a look? I recall it does a lot of conversions. If not, I believe there is a web site that does this, also! I can't recall it's link but I will try to dig out for you.
