I am going to be getting a Tamron 70-200 F2.8 to replace my budget sigma 70-300 however the 200 I feel will come up a bit short when trying to do bird / wildlife shooting from a distance. So I was thinking of getting a good quality tele extender x2.
Looking around I saw a sigma one, however I wasn't sure if the combo of sigma tele extender + Tamron lens would be compatible. I mailed the shop and they also said they had no technical data from either sigma or tmaron if this combination would work.
SO my question to the good folk of TP has anyone used the afore mentioned lens with a tele extender sigma or otherwise and did it work ok ?
