Right I've never unserstood the xx-xxx mm lens thing properly so sorry if this sounds a little of a daft issue for some. Well I have only had my sony A200 for 3 days lol.
But I'm looking at getting a 70-300mm lens to join the 18-70mm lens that came with it. And probably a third (undecided) near xmas time.
Now just what would a 70-300mm lens do for me compared to the kit 18-70mm lens?. Would the 70-300 fit onto the kit 18-70mm or would it go on the body directly?.
Now here is the daft sounding bit, how does the magnification thing work on something like a 70-300mm lens?. Is it simply what, about 4.3x magnification if directly connected to the camera?.
