I really like nighttime photography. If I could know the best setting . would be more grateful.

as with every other type of photography there's a really easy answer, thats of no use whatsoever.

"the appropriate one"

and without any more information as to what kind of night-time photography you're trying to do, it's all we can offer.

are you looking at light-trails from moving vehicles

are you looking to shoot people portraits outside in the dark, or near dark

do you want to capture fireworks displays

are you wanting to shoot architectural imagery...

all four will need completely different settings, and possibly additional hardware over and above the camera.

A google search should find a night time photography "guide", the Ilford manual of photography has a good list, but sadly I cant find mine as we're moving.
Kodaks guide for film suggested these. (200 iso)
Brightly lit street scenes 1/30 2.8
Store windows at night 1/30 4.0
Floodlight buildings 1/2 4.0
With most of the other options giving similar times except fireworks given F11 shutter open to capture several bursts.
The beauty of digital is make a guess and ajust from the screen image as needed. Some digital cameras in live view can scroll through white balance options to see what works best for your lighting on a night scene.
