Yes
Nikon d80 currently using a Tamron 18-250mm lens which i love the range despite some drawbacks it is a slow lens which is the part i dont like really.
i have just had my original 18mm-135mm lens restored after been droped so i have two lens that cover a decent range each. im wondering if i should sell them both and get a more expensive/better but simialr lens to the tamron as i love a bit of zoom.
What would you do?i could keep both, sell one, sell two, sell one and just keep the cash!?

cheers everyone

Do what i did........i had the 18-270 Tamron, sold it and got the 18-70 and 70-300mmVR second hand off ebay. I had the self same problem.....the autofocus was so slow on the super zoom....outside in bright light not too much of a problem, but anything less and the lens would hunt, sometimes not actually finding focus at all.....used to drive me nuts! Much happier now!!!

I second that. Go for the 70-300mm VR and as good a lens as you can afford in the 17-70 type range. I have the Tamrom 17-50mm which you can pick up for under £200. I think the 70-300mm will set you back about £350 to £400 so if you sell both your existing lenses it's not much of an investment to do the upgrade.

im wondering about a better quality lens that does say 18-200mm then a bigger zoom above 250mm range.
i so love not having to change lens with my super zoom, i love to take a wide shot and a zoom shot of a lot of situations like crowds etcetc so i dont feel a lens stopping at 50mm would be any good to me.
damn so many lens so little time and so many questions life is tough.
