Started taking some pictures of high rise building with my 16-35, standing just in front of the buildings, was well impressed with the pictures. So got my girlfriend to shoot from the same place with her 24-105 and this is the result.

I had a 10-20 Sigma on my old 400D before I got the 5D and 16-35 and I was impressed with the pictures that could be taken with that but the 16-35 is in another league.

The picture is the Bank of China in HK 369 Meters/1209 feet High.

i like the girlfriends pic . looks better exposed , most likely because it hasnt got any sky in it like yours .

Trouble is the polution makes the sky white/grey the whole time but there is bright light behind so makes a glare. So far we have only had one day that had any blue sky and bright light and temp went up to 29c.

This is a picture looking from Hong Kong Island towards Kowloon, gives an idea of the polution.
