This was before he went bog snorkeling :eek: I'm tempted to slice off the top, the sky was boring in the exptreme.

Nice... :) I think the sky gives a little more dimension to the shot. I see what you're saying and I might have added a subtle vignette or done a gradient filter.

I would consider it...if my skills/knowledge were up to it :nuts: I understand what you mean about the sky helping with context.

cool dog! i wouldn't crop the top off, i feel it adds a bit of airyness to the image, if that makes any sense to you at all!?
 
I agree with both Gremlin and Sparkoss on the sky, it's fine.
You could crop 2cm off the bottom though - Scroll crop to see whether you like the effect.
