Whats the best blog site for me?

I used to have a blog with blogspot for something else it was quite good however id like something a bit flashier if thats possible. I also want it to not be complicated, am I asking too much? I will have a link for it on my website flash page so want it kind of decent. Thanks in advance.
 
Have a look in the thread in this section titled post your blog links bu Edinburgh Gary. Have a look through peoples blogs and see what type of styles you like. I tried wordpress but couldnt get a template i was happy with, i think its more aimed at traditional type blogs. I was recomended Pixelpost and had a play with that and i find it great, does exactly what i want.

Anyway have a look around at the different blogging software and see what you like.
 
you can create your own designs over blogger blogs and other i imagine - blogger just works, although i don't blog heavily.
 
Ive used wordpress before and its brilliant software for a blog. IF you have your own webspace then you can install wordpress yourself although wordpress also offer hosting themselves for bloges.

I am using Joomla for my sites now. Its more of a CMS and offers loads of customization options. I currently have 2 sites set up using it

Heard good things about wordpress from some of the SEO forums I've been looking at recently.
