when looking at the Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 APO DG Macro? is APO worth the extra £50 on the 2nd hand market?

The APO has coated elements to control chromatic aberation and general improve image qualiy. It is definitly worth paying extra for (I have this very lens).

Ture. APO is much better than non-APO. Otherwise you should look on Nikon 70-300 G.

But I don't think the APO one would be worth £50 more than non-APO, only if it costs you less than £50 on non-APO.

A new APO Macro could be around £140. So a second hand APO version should be nearly £100 or less.

Thanks, i was thinking of offering £100 tbh as it was up at £115 and the non APO was only £60ish
