4/ Ringed Plover

5/ Puffin cleared to land - would have preferred a more head-on shot but this is the only one that was anywhere near being in focus. Fast little buggers:D

Also saw a Black Kite (quite rare apparently) but it was flying and I was driving:( Maybe get a shot of that if it's still hanging around at the weekend..

Edit/ Hmmm.. just noticed every one of them is looking off to the right.

Thanks chaps:)

Every one of those are fantastic.Love the Puffin head shot.Hoping to get a few like this on the Farne Islands in 4 weeks from now.

Hope you enjoy your trip there - assuming the Puffins behave the same as here you'll get very close to them. I hope we'll see the results when you return(y)

Id say pretty much perfect sums those up!!! Super work!!!

Have to agree with the rest, stunning shots. Puffin head shot just takes it for me (y)

looks like you have had a good few day's out with your camera there :)

super set of pictures
well done you!

Great Shots - thanks for the examples

Blimey, thanks for all the feedback folks:)

Brilliant shots, love the puffin ones and ringed plover, like the pose in the wheatear picture, what lens did you use for the wheatear? :)

It was with me Sigma 150-500mm, that shot was at 500mm, f6.3
I'm pretty sure they were all with the same lens.

Thanks,
John

All brilliant.............but for me 4 (especially) and 5 really stand out :clap:
