When editing a set...do you preset?

Say you took a load of shots and were going to publish 40 or so of them. If exposure was spot on exactly the same on all of them, would you give them all the same 'look' with a preset or set about processing them individually, considering the fact that they may not look like a 'set'!

A bit of both really. I edit one from the series and then copy/paste the settings across or using Sync in LR. Then I'll go through and tweak each one to taste. But I do try and keep a consistent "feel" to all the shots or maybe mix and match a couple of different styles.

I also use a combination, for example I will use a preset for WB and some basic changes to get the bulk of the work out the way, then tweak each image individually...

Same here, I'll get a preset going on one image (usually one that feels kind of "central") - then I'll apply that preset to each on in turn, tweaking as appropriate.
