Analogue Wonderland, Amazon, eBay, Process Supplies, Camera World, AG Photographic. There are many more and I tend to buy film when I see it on offer, it's becomming harder than ever to find film at bargain prices but it can be done. If you see a bargain, buy it!

How much do you think is an acceptable amount to pay for film?

It depends on how much you have in your bank account and whether you want to shoot film more than you want to eat. Probably the most cost effective way to shoot fresh in date film is to bulk roll your own Fomapan.

Good luck trying to find any colour film from anywhere never mind at "reasonable" prices

Don't pay anymore than you feel comfortable with. Certainly avoid the price gougers on amazon and ebay.

Wex do tend to be cheap for Ilford, I pick up a roll or two if I'm passing one. Boots however sell XP2 at £7 a roll, order online collect in one's local store.
