Hi,

I've made my mind about what kind of camera I'd like to buy but don't really know where to buy it from? I know there are a lot of websites but are there any that you could recommend?

I'm after Nikon D90 with 18-200 nikkor lens. Are there any good deals on a market that someone knows about? :) I really appreciate all the info :)

I've found Pixmania - they have quite good deals, but is it safe website?
 
I would have thought (admittedly you're new here) that if you put in a request on the sales bit of the forum you might get lucky!
That said I think you need to be a member for a month and make 100 posts - so you couldn't do it immediately.
The only thing I know about Pixmania is that they're based in France (?) and often send continental power cables. I think they're as good as any other company - again I will happily listen and learn from people more knowledgeable than my.
 
warehouseexpress are also good, ive never had any problems, except for saying they had my canon 10-22mm was in stock when it wasnt, i did end up getting it in the end though :)

when i was considering a D90 - i already had 3 lens

the very best price for a D90 BODY only was £549 [at the time] from one of the Classified Advertisers here called "kerso" - you can email him

this leaves you free to add lens of your choice
the 18-200 is quite large
you can get a NEW 18-55 *VR* for £100 from Parks..."here"

then put a "Wanted" in for a 55-200 VR - I got one for £130 mint
or a 70-300?

although 2 lens it gives you a bit more flexibility
