Where to search for models?

Is there any particular place over the internet to find models for your shoots if you don't have friends? I moved to UK not long ago and didn't understand yet where to start from. Though I got some experience and even a website, I'm not very good at communications. =)

Modelmayhem and Purpleport have both been good to me. But beware - they're both full of people who are not always who and what they say they are...

Facebook has become my goto place now, both for putting out casting calls on the modeling pages and for finding models. I still put the odd casting call out on mm now and then though.

Modelmanagement.com is very convenient. You can book models directly through the site. I have got good experiences there.
