this was one of a series, the tiger took a dislike to me and headed straight for me, only verring off at the last moment...NigPD wasnt so lucky!

here is one i took in india..at ranthambore...nothing between me and it except a minolta x700 loaded with 100asa film...and a jeep

she came out of the forest going along a path...to our right...the driver stopped right on the path...so i could get a good shot...and believe me the o in that shot was nearly an i...i leaned forward and softly said to the driver...for god's sake keep the engine running
he switched the engine off and laughed...the tigress went round the front of the jeep and snarled at us...she was about 3 years old...and looked hungry...

its a scan off of a machine print and blitzed with all sorts of software...wish i had a digital then...
