Can you get thats compatible with nikon 5000 lenses and is under £300 (body only)

knew it was a stupid question but £300 is 300 quid which i dont have knocking about lol!

Any ideas on which? im thinking a d40 could be quite cheap? ive had the d60 which i liked (but heavy..)

Any from the D40/D40x/50/60/70/70s/80/100 and D3000 should be within budget plus the D200 for a smidgen more :)
 
there was a D40 in Curry's yesterday for a little over £200 so you could probably get a better price elsewhere :)

That's a clever horse you have there! :D

The d40 is basically the same camera as the d40x but with a 6mp sensor, the d60 is the improved version of the d40x, any of them should be available for well under £200

i will advertise on here then as ive seen one advertised (d40) for £150 locally... :)
