Which Filter?

Hi im after a polarizer filter for my 18-105mm Nikon kit Lens.As a newbie should i be looking to buy only a cheapie,as later on will probably upgrade to a better lens and if so which ones do you recommend.Or do i buy the best because there is alot of difference in the quality of the pics i will get,again which ones do you recommend and the best place to buy them.Appreciate any help,thanks.

Hoya Pro 1 D...not too expensive, good quality and the thinner profile avoids vignetting at wide angle

Hi Maccas, i'm in a similar boat to you with looking at filters. WarehouseExpress are very good and popular here, you might want to try out some independent shops, i've discovered http://www.wokinghamphotographic.co.uk/lst36.htm and http://www.fotosense.co.uk/ recently.

Hoya filters are much cheaper on Amazon. I have seen them as low as £55 from a company called Cameraking. Anyone had any dealings with them ?
Are they likely to be genuine ones at that price ?

look for Kenko Pro 1 D's normally cheaper than Hoya and are made by the same company.

Ive seen some good prices on amazon and ebay anyone bought from these?also is there alot of difference between hoya pro and the green series apart from the price?
