Which Filters?

Does anyone have any recommendations on whose filters to use?

I want a set of ND grads for landscapes, was thinking Lee or Cokin? I was on a car shoot for a mag yesterday and the pro was using a set of rectangular filters which seemed pretty flexible.

I've currently got a 450d with 18-55 and 55-250IS lenses, both with 58mm threads if that makes a difference?

Your help would be appreciated.

A lot of people place Lee filters at the top of the totem pole, followed by Hitech, then Cokin Z-Pro (and X-Pro) and finally other Cokin grades such as P. I'm not sure where Kood and any other brands stand.

Personally I have stuck my toe in the water with a set of Cokin Z-Pro grads. They seem OK to me, based on limited use. The Cokin ranges beneath the Z-Pros are supposed to suffer from colour casts, which may be white balanced out, but maybe not.

For your size of gear I suspect the Cokin P series will be large enough, but I don't know whether the quality would satisfy you. I've never tried them myself, and as a full frame, wided angle shooter I need the larger 100mm filters in any case.
