which is best overall?

Hi all
which lens is the best overall lens 35mm f2 af or 35mm 1.8 afs.
afs is a faster lens but optically which is superior?
which would you go for and why

Not seen the f2 but i have just got the 35mm f1.8G and I'm dead pleased with it! It's really sharp and gives good colour/contrast.
